2. To keep this a 'mini'-comp as opposed to a 'comp of any size', there can be no more than ten rooms in the game. A room is as defined in the ADRIFT Generator, so if you want to have several nested rooms (behind the sofa, under the table, etc) in your game, that's file. So long as the room count in the ADRIFT Generator doesn't exceed ten.

3. There are no other size restrictions. The game can include as many items, NPCs, quests, etc as you like.

4. The deadline is Saturday, 25th March 2006 and entries should be submitted to dwhyld@gmail.com prior to that date. Voting will then take place over the next three weeks with the results being announced on Saturday, 15th April 2006. In the event of their being an unusually large number of entries to the comp, the voting period will be extended until some time in June.
5. There must be a minimum of three entries for the comp to go ahead.

6. Prizes. Yes, there are prizes. Depending on the number of entries:

1-4 entries:
£20 first prize
£10 second prize

5+ entries:
£30 first prize
£20 second prize
£10 third prize

7. You can submit as many entries as you like. You can even use a pseudonym if you want.

8. The games can be passworded or not as you see fit.

9. A walkthrough must be included with your submission so I can verify the games can be completed successfully, but these won't be included in the final competition file (although authors can still make walkthroughs available if they wish).

10. Needless to say, you can't vote for your own game, although people entering the comp are allowed to vote for everyone else's games, including ones they beta-tested.

11. The comp will use the standard 1-10 rating system. It will also include a feedback form which voters are encouraged to complete.

12. If you haven't taken part in any of the writing challenges, you can still enter the comp. Just pick whichever of the five ideas listed above appeals to you the most and write a game about it.
