You are Angramore Grunt, an explorer and adventurer of some renown, who has been going through a bad patch and really needs a discovery. So here you are wandering the Egyptian desert when you find an unknown pyramid. You rest on the side and it gives way tossing you inside.

Entrance Chamber
You are just inside the pyramid. Beside you is the stone which opened and shut when you leant on it outside. On examination beside the stone is an impression of the back of what looks like some sort of insect. Looking around, by the light of the torch that you produced from your pocket, you find yourself in a narrow corridor sloping southwards from the way you entered. At the southern end of the corridor is a stone wall with a carved scene depicting a man being beheaded.

You move through into the short passage. You feel the stone you stand on shift slightly down and hear a strange almost clockwork sound coming from the wall.
Short passage
A short passageway south from the entrance chamber. You can move north and south.

Golden Chamber
By comparison with the early parts of this construction, this golden chamber makes your heart skip a beat as it was walls made from what appears to be gold, and are covered with an amazing array of scenes of hunting and Egyptian ceremonials. You can move north and east.

Side Chamber
A small chamber, the walls are a slighly yellowed white, and again lined with many fine scenes, this time in red, gold and black. In the centre of the room is a raised platform on which stands a huge stone sarcophagos. You can only move west.

The stone sarcophagos is a huge object, carved with incredible details showing the scenes of the pharoah's journey into the land beyond life. The magnificent sarcophagos is closed.

You open the magnificent sarcophagos. The golden coffin and a golden beetle are inside the magnificent sarcophagos.

You take the golden beetle from the magnificent sarcophagos.

Golden Chamber

A short passageway south from the entrance chamber. You can move north and south.

You put the golden beetle inside the depression. The beetle presses home into the depression and the stone blocking the exit moves out of your way allowing you to make a hasty retreat.

Unfortunately as you want to get out, you have to leave the beetle in its place rather than take it as you had hoped.
